Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a class of Lie algebras which are subalgebras of generalized Cartan type S Lie algebras of characteristic 0. We determine the necessary and suficient conditions for such Lie algebras to be simple. And we give all derivations of such simple Lie algebras.
